"Coyote" is perhaps Leah's most poetically brilliant and interesting musical adventure yet. A haunting and engaging chant is enhanced by the tracks melodic guitars as Leah's storytelling lyrics again demonstrate mastery of his songwriting prowess.

Chuck Leah is an old-soul Texas Troubadour with a voice like a distant stare.  He bottles

genre-straddling, wanderlust Americana with innate musicality and startling sincerity.

"Coyote" is a dark piece written while Leah was fighting for his life from Sepsis last year. Chuck first encountered the coyote a few years ago at the crossroads in Mississippi, where blues singer Robert Johnson allegedly sold his soul to the devil in the 1930's. While ill, the coyote frequented Leah's mind, visiting his room during his periods of fever.

 

The track features an Allstar band including: 3x Grammy Award Winner Larry Campbell (Bob Dylan, Levon Helm), Grammy nominated drummer Aaron Sterling (John Mayer, Taylor Swift), B3 master Eric Finland (Greg Allman, Blues Brothers), Scott Eric Olivier (Michael Jackson, Van Halen), and award winning vocalists Armand Hutton, Ronnie Robertson, Samson White, and Elvie Williams.
